We stayed here for the weekend and had such an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was also surprisingly really good, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept. One thing we loved was the pool being open 24/7 — that’s so rare to find now and honestly made the trip even better. They also upgraded us to a suite for free, which was such a nice surprise. They do currently have some construction in the front, but honestly it didn’t bother us at all. Once you’re inside the property, you completely forget it’s even there. Everything about the stay felt relaxing and easy. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The owners are two of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever hope to meet. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care for their guests really set this place apart. It’s rare to come across such lovely people who clearly take so much pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay with exceptional hospitality, I can’t recommend Black Desert Resort highly enough.

Amazing! We came on a couples trip. I was also 7 months pregnant and this place would be awesome if you are looking for a baby-moon location! The spa was glorious. The prenatal message was the best ever. They have a special pillow and bed that allows you to lay on your belly and on your back safely and comfortably. If you are pregnant that alone is glorious. The private spa pool is the perfect temp and serene. The mocktail list at the pool is next level. Sitting in the pool and looking at snow canyon is ultimate relaxation. Latitude restaurant had fantastic food for both dinner and lunch. The mini golf and driving range were fun to try out. Also perfect location to be in St. George and near the parks. It was quiet, relaxing, and fun!

Our stay at Black Desert Resort was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The property itself is breathtaking, with incredible views in every direction and a truly unique setting that made the entire experience feel special. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service and hospitality. Every team member we encountered was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. A special shout-out to Timmy at Latitude, who went above and beyond to provide outstanding service and made us feel incredibly well taken care of. From the beautiful accommodations to the amazing dining experiences and stunning scenery, everything exceeded our expectations. We left already looking forward to our next visit and absolutely hope to come back soon. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable Southern Utah getaway!
